Growing herbs in your herb garden will bring year around color, texture and fragrance. Add cooking herbs to your dishes, too. Cut several potatoes into chunks and toss with olive oil a little sea salt and roughly chopped rosemary leaves. Roast in the oven at 400 degrees for about 35 minutes or until tender and browned. Not only will it taste delicious, but it will smell so wonderful while it's roasting. Mmmm....Toss some thyme leaves into roasts, stews and soups. Chopped chives add a nice little kick to salads, baked potatoes, omlets and other egg dishes.
