For these states all plants will be taken out of containers, the soil shaken off of the roots, and then roots dipped in water retention gel, then wrapped with moist medium and packaged to insure fresh and live delivery. Sorry for any inconvenience.


Lavender angustifolia, Hidcote Blue is a free flowering dwarf variety that produces deep purple flower spikes in late spring and summer. Great for a dwarf hedge, edging, or for massing.

Culture:

Lavender grows best in rocky, dry, sunny places with an abundant amount of lime in the soil. It can be propagated by seed or cuttings. Scent is strongest in dry, sunny locations.

Harvesting:

To dry flowers, pick when showing color but before fully open; tie in bunches and hang in a cool, airy place.

Uses:

Lavender is one of the most famous of all herbs for the fragrance of its dried flowers and the oil distilled from them.

Perennial - Tender/Evergreen will have to winter protected.

Ships in Large 4 inch pots. Which is just the right size for transplanting. Purchase only potted Lavender for ease in transplanting. Never purchase bare root.

Seasonal shipping. Lavender ships ONLY between Mid-March to May 1st for optimum planting.
