NEW! Spartan Juniper Juniperus chinensis Spartan – Here is a welcome alternative plant to the often photographed cypress of Italy. The fast growing Spartan Juniper is the source of the lovely spiraled topiary columns so popular in Mediterranean-inspired gardens. They can be grown in high-quality heavy weight concrete or ceramic containers that are perfect for formal gardens.

The Spartan junipers handsome, rapidly growing specimen forms densely branched columnar form useful as screen or windbreak.

Care Instructions:

Follow a regular watering schedule during the first growing season to establish a deep, extensive root system. Watering is reduced after establishment.

Shipped in ONE GALLON containers, Purchase in multiples for best value.

The evergreen plants will arrive healthy and ready for planting. Should they die within the first year we will replace at one half the current member price plus shipping. Once planted with moderate care, just watering every five days or so and not fertilizing for the first year, the plants generally do well. The evergreens are a low maintenance, easy to grow; almost no care needed plant to own.
