Sedum Autumn Fire - Cheryl and I have several varieties of sedum in our garden and we just love them in the fall. Sedum Autumn Fire is very similar to Autumn Joy, but we selected the Sedum Autumn Fire for its tighter growth habit, thicker foliage, and more brightly colored rosy flowers which are produced from late summer into fall. Sedum is one of the most popular perennials grown in American gardens because it is very easy to grow and hardy in most areas of the country. Because of its thick, succulent leaves which can store water, sedum is drought tolerant. It should be sited in average to poor soil that is well-drained. Most varieties should be grown in full sun to light shade. Do not deadhead. Cut back in early spring. Pinch back during growing season for height control.

Purchase in multiples for best value. Skip a step with Step Ups! Introducing, exclusively for Greenwood Nursery Club members and customers, our NEW STEP-UPS ™ Perennial Plant collection. What are Step-Ups ™? - Our perennials are cultivated and grown with an accelerated system. They are started in small containers, transplanted to quart containers, and then transplanted again to one gallon trade size containers. This expands the root system, making our plants perform like a two year perennial the very first year. Step-ups ™ perform the first year you plant them. You're a step ahead with Step Ups!
